Coco is a much-loved sweet shop based in the charming town of Nailsworth, a gem of the Cotswolds. The shop has been a part of the town now for 11 years, and is truly becoming a part of it's heritage.
As new owners, we, Sofia and Annabel, have brought in some exciting new products, to suit every annual or special occasion. Shelf after shelf of traditional sweets still remain for those who love to pick their favourites by the gram! We believe we couldn’t truly be a sweet shop if we didn't do the best hot chocolates in town too… along with freshly ground coffee boasting tasting notes of dark chocolate, caramelised hazelnuts and sweet acidity.
With both of us being vegan we feel passionate about finding the best free from treats! We have brought in a great range of products for those avoiding dairy, meat, sugar and gluten. Ensuring that the business has as green a footprint as possible, we are using compostable packaging where we can and we are saying no to products that come heavily packaged in plastic. You may find some products have been discontinued because of this. We love our confectionery, but we love the planet more!
Having lived locally all our lives we know the values of family and community in our little town and aim to always provide service with a smile.

A sweetshop in Nailsworth is set to reopen under the new leadership of two childhood friends.
Coco Confectionary in Fountain Street reopens on Saturday under the ownership of Sofia Corgier and Annabel Wigley, who have been close friends since primary school.
Aged 20 and 19, Sofia and Annabel are hoping to bring a batch of fresh ideas to the well-known sweetshop, which has been in Nailsworth for over a decade.
“We're both new to this but we are passionate about starting many business ventures together and believe Coco is a great place for us to begin,” said Sofia, who met Annabel while at St Dominic’s Primary School in Inchbrook.
